ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER II Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources
The Administrative Assistant will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable with our software, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands. Pay based on experience. This position provides a flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments.
Job Duties:
Direct walk-in customers or vendors in a pleasant and respectful manner.
Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Process accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Handle customer inquiries and provide customer service.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence management.
Manage material/counter sales.
Help organize and maintain office common areas.
Qualifications:
Experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with Outlook.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to operate phone systems efficiently.
Detail oriented.
Schedule:
Schedule is flexible M-F between 8 AM and 4 PM, 2-3 days per week
Expected hours are 16-24 per week.
Part-time.
