QUALIFICATIONS:

● Minimum of a High School Diploma

● Possess excellent interpersonal skills and public relation skills to work effectively with students, staff, community members, and the Board of Education.

● Office training and/or successful work experience in a business office of industry or education.

● Ability to learn a number of different databases – internal and external

Working knowledge of Skyward or other Student Management Systems
Working knowledge of Google and excel

● Possess strong written and oral communication skills.

● Possess strong organizational and problem solving skills.

● Ability to deal with confidential matters with a high degree of discretion.

● Ability to work independently.

● Ability to collaborate with others.

● Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

● Willingness to learn and take initiative to acquire new skills.

REPORTS TO: District Administrator

GOAL: The Administrative Assistant provides assistance and support to the District Administrator, and school board to assure the effective and efficient operation of the District. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the processing and maintenance of confidential and non-confidential correspondence of the District Administrator. In addition, the Administrative Assistant carries out all other duties necessary to support the needs of the District Office.

Terms of Employment: 12 month, 40 hours per week

Other: Performs such other related responsibilities as may be assigned.
