A local CPA firm in Berkeley is looking for an office assistant to help with the organization and management of daily administrative operations. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time job. Formal training and onboarding are to be provided.

Skills Required:

● Excellent communication and writing skills

● Highly organized and detail-oriented

● Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities:

● Answer and document phone calls

● Schedule client appointments

● Manage general email inbox

● Scan, copy, and file documents

● Manage clients’ secure portal

● Assemble and mail tax returns

● Order office supplies and maintain general office organization

Qualifications:

● High School Diploma/GED

● College coursework or experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks preferred but not required

Compensation: $24-27/hr, depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
No nights
