Administrative Support Associate
Manhattan Pain Medicine (MPM) is a multi-specialty practice offering comprehensive, individualized care for all causes of physical discomfort. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented full time Administrative Support Associate to join our team and help ensure the efficient operation of our practice.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing, as needed.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Manage office supplies, mail, and general administrative tasks.
Handle data entry, filing, and document management.
Support special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; or certification in medical administration is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in medical software, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Practice Fusion experience is a plus.
Out of network practice experience is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000- $70,000
