CNP District Administrative Secretary Duties and Responsibilities

Reports to: Child Nutrition Director
Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least 1 year of Office Experience
Preferred Skills: Computer Skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
Additional Notes: Works as a Team Member with CNP Leadership
Employment Terms: 12 months, 8 hours per day
7:30-4:30, Exclusive of a lunch
Evaluation: Annually

Occasional Requirements: Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 25 pounds
Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process the Monthly Claim for Breakfast and Lunch Service through the State Department of Education
Prepare Reports and Forms for ALL the SDE Deadlines as Needed
Update and Maintain Current ALL Staff Training Thru Training Tracker Required by the USDA
Process ALL Activity Fund Purchase Order Request, Payments and Fund Raiser Applications for the Catering Account.
Organize the Steps and Duties of Achieving ALL Data to Process the Temporary Date of Eligibility or Expiration of Student Low Income Status in a Timely Matter that Notifies Households on Their Meal Payment Status
Responsible for ALL Aspects of the CNP Point of Sale (software) Manager Program, Which Involves Student Status, Accounting for Revenue Processing.
Prepares and Processes the Required Low-Income Report to be Used by the District and State Department of Education in a Timely Fashion and Meeting ALL Deadlines
Responsible for the Annual Verification Process, which Involves Contacting Households and Verifying Income to Determine Eligibility Status. The Software Selects the Household, who Will Be Required to Provide Proof of Income.
Responsible for Civil Rights Compliance, by Recording ALL Civil Rights Training and Attendance of Staff. Sometimes Will Require Training for Those Who Missed the General Training at the Annual CNP In-Service.
Responsible for the Direct Certification Process Thru the State Agencies. This Process Involves the Automatic Eligibility of Student Status Based on Other State Programs.
Basic Office Functions Involving Inquiries on the Operations of CNP thru Phone, In-Person, Text or E-mails.
Attend Trainings as Required
Work with CNP Director on Projects
