Central Regional Hospital We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Specialist II to provide administrative secretarial support to the office of Nursing Administration. This position will report to the Chief Nursing Officer. Job duties include but are not limited to:Maintaining electronic and paper databases.Scheduling, calendars and appointments of Nurse Administration officers.Coordination and organization of nursing activities and meetings as directed.Assist in composing minutes, memorandums, letters and correspondence for internal and external communication.Maintain Nursing policy and procedure manuals (through collaboration with Nursing Policy/Procedure committee). Routinely carries out functions within the Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) which may include, but is not limited to, review and analysis of events, maintaining Patient Safety Work Product (PSWP) within a secure environment, and entering patient safety event information into the designated Patient Safety Event and Patient Safety Organization (PSO) databases.Telephone and messaging management (answering business phone) courteously and efficiently.Operation of computer systems and applications: Microsoft Office.Organize, maintain inventory, and order office supplies and storage.The normal work hours for this position is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
