Sun Chevrolet is growing and currently seeking an administrative office clerk for several office positions. We are looking for office help in the general accounting office, title and inventory position, as well as in our body shop department. For general office, we are requiring Title Clerk experience for that position. *Prior Vehicle Title Clerk experience is required for one of these positions*

Qualifications:

Title experience required for one of the positions
Automotive Dealership experience preferred, but not required
Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record required
Must submit to and pass a drug screen prior to employment

Responsibilities:

Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled and assist Finance Managers in preparation of deal paperwork
Prepares tax and title documents.
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles and generates plates and registrations.
Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
Bills out dealer trades (swaps) and prepares Certificates of Origin.
Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.
Assigns over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
Stays up-to-date of title regulations. Attends trainings held by local licensing bureaus to remain current on title regulations.
Scheduling appointments for work in our body shop
Verify parts ordering for work completion and communicating with insurance companies
Following up with customer status calls
Organizing documents for repairs and estimates
General filing and receptionist duties, including accounting data entry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
