24-02837 MOA60090508Salary Grade: NC01   Recruitment Salary: $36,682-44,331                                                      This position will be located at:                                                                   2110 Blue Ridge Rd.,       Raleigh, NC 27607Learn about employee perks/benefits:   The Administrative Specialist l is responsible for managing the offices of the NC Museum of Art Winston-Salem, assisting with daily tasks including record keeping, scheduling, and program/event planning.  This position also serves as an expert in back-of-house operations including online databases and customer relationship management software to include ticketing and retail services.Key Responsibilities:Staying informed of all NC Museum of Art Winston-Salem exhibitions, educational programs, and special events and relaying that information to stakeholders.Managing internal projects as assigned by the Executive Director and Director of Development.Answering phones, opening mail, managing office supplies, and maintaining office equipment.Filling in as needed on weekends and evenings for events and programs.Assisting with reconciling and administering financial records, including contracts, credit cards, and purchase orders.Staying up to date on Tessitura training. Tessitura is the Museum’s customer relationship management software.Building events (programs, concerts, dinners, etc.) in Tessitura and managing ticketing.Managing user experience for ticketing in Tessitura and providing event data to staff as requested.Supporting events and private rentals.Working in the retail space and front desk as needed.The North Carolina Museum of Art is a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.  The statutory purpose of the Museum is to acquire, preserve, and exhibit works of art for the education and enjoyment of the people of the State, and to conduct programs of education, research, and publication designed to encourage an interest in and an appreciation of art on the part of the people of the State [GS 140-5.12].
