We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
– Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
– Verify insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
– Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
– Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
– Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
– Utilize electronic medical record systems to schedule appointments and access patient information
– Provide general administrative support to the office staff
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a medical office setting
– Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
– Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
