Education:

A bachelor’s degree is required.
A degree in psychology is encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
Performing minor accounting duties
Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters

Essential Experience:

Knowledge of and proficiency in computer programs, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe.
Knowledge of principles and practices of basic and advanced office management.
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.
Demonstrate a high degree of skill in problem solving and working effectively with people.
Ability to maintain filing systems and company documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
Experience in office/clerical/administrative assistant position required.
Experience/familiarity with the pharmacy field is preferred.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Factors:

Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Must have a current driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to talk on the phone extensively and eloquently.
Ability to bend, lift, pull and push at least 25 lbs.
Must have the visual ability to prepare, analyze and transcribe data and figures.
Ability to read extensive use of computer screens.
