Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $24.76 – $26.38 / hour

Job Summary: We are currently looking to fill a Casual opportunity for an Administrative Support Clerk to support Population & Public Health in Burnaby, B.C.

Responsibilities:

Provide reception services, operate multi-line switchboard, answer inquiries, and direct visitors.

Type technical and non-technical material using word processing software, prepare informational packages.

Maintain filing systems, process mail and courier documents, manage office supplies.

Arrange meetings, operate office equipment, assist with client intake, perform timekeeping functions.

Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 and graduation from an approved Office Administration Certificate program plus 1 year’s recent related experience, or an equivalent combination.

Effective communication skills in English, interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and proficiency in typing (40 wpm).

Knowledge of office procedures, relevant acts, and ability to operate office equipment.
