We are looking for an Administrative Support Manager for an 8 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 3 days a week on site in Downtown Toronto.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Operational Risk and Compliance program framework, including documentation, reporting, and ongoing process improvements supporting the organization’s risk management activities. This role will assist with monitoring program adoption across business units, maintaining risk and control documentation, and supporting quality assurance and reporting initiatives related to operational risk processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recurring and ad hoc administrative and coordination activities for the Operational Risk team
  • Assist in maintaining, updating, and documenting operational risk frameworks, procedures, controls, and governance materials
  • Track and monitor program adoption, compliance activities, and reporting metrics across multiple business units
  • Organize, manage, and analyze large datasets related to operational risk, controls, governance, and compliance initiatives
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, trackers, and presentations using Excel and other reporting tools
  • Support quality assurance (QA) reviews and validation of documentation, reporting outputs, and control processes
  • Assist with identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting ongoing enhancement initiatives
  • Conduct analysis and reporting where business requirements or data inputs may be evolving or unclear
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of risk documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets, reporting, and data analysis
  • Previous experience within banking or financial services
  • Experience supporting Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Audit, or Project Management functions
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation, information management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), or controls validation activities
  • Familiarity with risk and control frameworks within financial institutions
  • Comfortable working in environments with evolving requirements and ambiguity
  • Experience preparing management reporting and executive-level summaries
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
