Job Title: General Admin/Operations Administrator

Position Overview: The General Admin/Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth administrative processes and regulatory compliance. This role includes managing business insurance, overseeing tax and compliance matters, and handling various office-related functions to support business continuity and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Insurance Management:

Coordinate and maintain business insurance policies, ensuring coverage is up to date and meets regulatory requirements.
Liaise with insurance brokers and carriers for policy renewals, claims, and adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, premiums, and claims history.

Tax & Compliance Support:

Assist with the preparation and submission of tax filings, including corporate tax returns, sales tax, and other business-related taxes.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations by staying up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Work with external accountants or tax professionals as needed to ensure accurate filings and adherence to legal requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor and enforce adherence to industry-specific regulations and standards, including safety, environmental, and operational compliance.
Maintain documentation of business licenses, certifications, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare reports and assist with audits, inspections, and reviews as required by regulatory bodies.

Miscellaneous Tasks:

Assist with organizing business meetings, conferences, and events, including logistics and communication.
Develop and implement office procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Support the leadership team with various ad hoc tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in administrative or operations support roles, ideally in a business insurance, compliance, or tax-related environment.
Strong knowledge of business insurance practices, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in office management software (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace) and experience with office administration tools.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with regulatory compliance
Basic knowledge of accounting or financial management practices.
Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems

Work Location: Onsite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
