Service Administrative Assistant – Coopersville, MI

Position Summary:
Our team is looking to hire a new Service Administrative Assistant to help Bekins provide award winning customer service. This position is in our Coopersville location. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be highly organized, and have exceptional attention to detail. It is Bekins’ goal to provide award winning customer service while providing employees with a stable environment focused on a healthy work/life balance. Full-time schedule, Monday – Friday including a rotating Saturday. Starting at $20 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent communication with customers and departments within Bekins.
Be organized, efficient, professional, and friendly.
Handle matters expertly and proactively, follow-through on projects to successful completion.
Handle customer concerns and questions appropriately.
Able to navigate detailed and complex computer software programs with ease.
Naturally has a meticulous and precise personality; professional.
Track and maintain product exchanges, parts processing, and service schedules.
Coordinate with vendors to meet customer needs.
Work in scheduling software to set up customer appointments.
Type reports and emails, search invoices, count inventory, review service tickets, complete open/close duties, process transfers, sort and file paperwork, and attend staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Experience in clerical or administrative support positions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Able to navigate detailed computer software programs with ease.
Excellent customer service skills.
A friendly personality with a desire to help all of our clientele.
Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats.
