Are you a detail-oriented Administrator with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude? If so, I have an exciting opportunity for you!

I’m currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Administrator role with a well-established building regulation consulting firm, located in the Sydney CBD.

This firm is seeking a highly organised professional with strong administrative and support experience. Ideally, candidates with prior exposure to the Construction, Property, or Engineering industries would be desired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation of fee proposals and tenders, presentations, and reports

Managing registers and ensuring legislative reporting requirements are met

Preparation of documents (certificates) and correspondence, and reviewing documentation

Use of online Portals (eg. Planning Portal)

Managing project expenses and tracking invoicing

Diary management and meeting coordination

Electronic file management including use of various systems such as Aconex and SharePoint

Travel Bookings/arrangements

Liaison with clients and external stakeholders

General office support including mail, reception, kitchen duties and ordering supplies/amenities

Key Competencies:

Strong or excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)

Initiative and ‘can-do’ attitude

Attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritise and multitask

Information management

An interest in architecture, building, construction or engineering would be advantageous to enjoyment of the role and career progression.

Experience and Qualifications:

The role will include on the job training in relation to our legislated procedures, below are the minimum training requirements:

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

Understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams

Willingness to undertake training

Completion of Certificate of Business Administration or similar qualifications would be advantageous and highly regarded.
