Job description:
First Quantum Minerals is one of the world’s biggest mining companies, employing over 20,000 people.

Ravensthorpe Nickel Operation is our flagship operation in Australia. Located on the beautiful south coast of Western Australia, we are just a short commute from the coastal community of Hopetoun. As a major nickel producer and exporter, we aim to ship up to 30,000 tonnes of nickel concentrate each year via Esperance Port.

Reporting to the Support Services Coordinator, the Support Services Administrator will provide support in all aspect of Travel & Accommodation processes for all employees, contractors and site visitors whilst maintaining a close relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

Provide assistance to Travel Coordinator in preparation of monthly reporting – travel & accommodation data

Processing of associated travel and accommodation invoices

Follow all policies and procedures

Operate and maintain travel and accommodation rosters and management systems.

Providing adhoc after-hours assistance for emergency travel requirements and enquiries

Travel & Accommodation

Manage all departments’ travel and accommodation requirements, inclusive of the following:

Management of all on boarding.

Processing of all site entry forms.

Flight, accommodation and roster management

Inflight point of contact.

High volume movements associated with shutdowns.

Camp & Housing:
Support the Coordinator when required or in their absence, to include but not limited to:

Liaising with Town Property management housing service provider.

Liaising with the Village management service provider.

Liaising with transport providers, Bus & planes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Previous experience in a multi-tasking administration role

Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office

Use of Inflight or other travel & accommodation software will be highly regarded

Use of Pronto or other accounts payable software.

Able to juggle priorities, work cross-functionally and excel under pressure to tight deadlines

Able to work a flexible schedule

A natural and confident communicator – exhibiting a mature approach, and able to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clear information to all stakeholder groups.
