The Brewer Company, a 100% employee-owned company, is the leading manufacturer of pavement sealer and asphalt pavement maintenance tools and stencils. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting team members, and maintaining effective communication. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to providing exceptional support.

Responsibilities

Use of our ERP system (Syspro) to perform multiple office tasks including:

Match receivers to purchase orders and vendor invoices
Code and enter invoices
Invoice customers
Answer phones and direct calls
Managing daily schedule for bulk deliveries
Coordinate with drivers
Input of inventory adjustments
Invoice & payment queries
Preparing and making daily deposits
Processing/distributing mail

This position will assist and serve as back for:

Monitoring office supplies
Other related office tasks
Assisting with customer credit applications
Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.

Skills

Demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting
Exhibit a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Experience using a calculator
Provide their own vehicle to complete bank runs. (Mileage is reimbursed by Company at IRS maximum allowed rate.)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in team management and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management best practices.
Familiarity with human resources functions is a plus.
Ability to plan events effectively while considering logistics and budget constraints.
Proficient in using office software applications for documentation and communication purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
