The Administrative Applications team is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support of applications that are utilized by the Facilities and Campus Services (FCS) division. As an applications programmer this position would provide development and operational support for key business applications that manage FCS functions such as IBM Maximo, EBS, eBuilder, Facilities Billing among others.
The Administrative Applications team shares responsibility for the operational support of existing FCS applications, as well as the development of features and functions in the support of new business requirements. The Applications Programmer involves collaborative work with business customers, developers, and vendors.
What you’ll need:
Experience with JSON and XML.
Experience with Containerization. Familiarity with Openshift is a plus.
Experience with deployment of code updates to multiple environments including development, test, and production.
Ability to provide technical guidance and support in the use and selection of appropriate applications and integrations as they relate to FCS functions.
Ability to work independently to provide programming and application support to identify, prioritize, and resolve problems with FCS applications and systems.
Ability to recommend new solutions in alignment with strategic plans and business requirements ensuring considerations for system stability, performance, and ongoing maintainability
Represent FCS technology related topics on a variety of department, division, and university advisory and working committees
Knowledge of project management and business analysis methodologies is a plus
