Position Summary

The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management is responsible for coordinating and executing the University’s enrollment management strategies. This position directly supervises the Directors of Student Financial Services and Admissions and under the Senior Vice President to leverage opportunities to achieve successful enrollment outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Leads, develops, implements, assesses, and modifies strategic plans to ensure success for FHU’s enrollment strategies. This may include market research, branding, advertising, recruitment events, and financial aid offers.

Establish, assess and report annual benchmarks for enrollment efforts. Monitors and reports to the Senior Vice President weekly progress toward achieving established benchmarks.

Establish, assess and report an annual action plan for Enrollment Management. Monitors and reports to the Senior Vice President at least once a semester progress toward achieving outcomes established within the action plan.

Serves on theleadershipteam for the division ofCommunity Engagementand collaborates withsenior leadership, faculty, and staff for timely enrollment forecasting for budget purposes as well as to ensure effectivecommunicationand coordination of efforts.

Provide university-wide updates to inform the campus community as to the status and progress of enrollment outcomes.

Stayup-to-dateon all federal regulations pertaining to admissions and financial aid and ensure university widecommunicationand compliance.

Serve on committee to review all need based aid and academic review appeals and make offers of financial aid and admittance decisions where applicable.

Serve on other committees as needed and/or assigned.

Reviews exceptional admissions and financial aid cases.

Manage expense budget, complete allocations, and submit statements monthly.

Exhibit a commitment tocontinuous improvementby assessing and enhancing enrollment management activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises the Director of Student Financial Services and the Director of Admissions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
