Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Part-Time
Our Office assistant/Clerk works under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, to ensure that all vendor invoices are paid accurately and timely, Client invoices are produced and sent and must maintain an organized and up-to-date purchase logs and prepare checks.
This position assists with various clerical, administrative and customer service tasks, in addition to other duties,
Basic Duties & Responsibilities
· Accounts Receivable/Billing assistance
· Accounts Payable/Entry assistance
· Month end/Year end closing assistance
· Ensure a neat, clean, professional and efficient business office.
· Perform all filing as required
· Assist with the timely and accurate coding of all purchase orders and invoices and the preparation of an accounts payable report.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Experience with accounting data entry
· Proficient typing/ten key
· Computer knowledge of simple office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
· Performs duties with minimal supervision
· Must be able to follow instructions and procedures.
· Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
· Professional demeanor and work ethic
· Effective time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Confidentiality
· Neat and organized
· Extremely detailed, accurate, results-oriented, and well-organized
Required Education
Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year experience as an Office Assistant or related field.
In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the starting pay for this position is $18-25 per hour.
