Through our broad-based programs, we try to promote a healthy and holistic lifestyle throughout the campus community.

The Assistant Director for Fitness Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of six fitness centers and two issue rooms within the Recreational Services department. This includes supervision of part time, regular and student staff, managing and directing all scheduling needs in order to operate these facilities in a safe and efficient manner. The role also manages the cleaning and equipment maintenance of all front desk equipment and some site equipment, ensuring that each site has necessary and functioning equipment. As a team leader, this role is essential to the smooth operations of our Recreational Fitness Centers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years professional experience beyond a graduate assistantship, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Current American Red Cross First-aid, CPR and AED certification.
