Assistant Insurance Broker
Location: Rockville Centre, NY (Hybrid – Wednesday’s are remote)
Salary: $55-70,000
Our Client: A 35-person, 75-year-old family-owned brokerage, seeks an insurance person with some experience and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional work environment.
Duties will involve:
Requesting client’s insurance documents.
Creating Invoices, Auto , Certificates, Proofs, Applications, Proposals.
Working on renewal lists, Excel charts, schedules of insurance, audits.
Sending renewal invoices and certificates to clients or brokers.
Working closely on renewals and continuation certificates.
Data entry of customer information.
Managing client records.
Assisting supervisors on special projects; assisting staff with office tasks.
Handling rate applications for CNA, Hartford, Chubb, Travelers.
Requirements:
Brokers license or plan to obtain one in 6 months.
Excellent communication skills.
1 year of insurance experience.
Experience with MS Word and Excel is a must; EPIC is a plus.
