Responsible for dealing with all internal and external stakeholders for smooth functioning.
Leading team effectively of procurement associates & act as SPOC.
Review and monitoring SCM activities.
Experience of procurement of OEM & non OEM material /services, Spares, consumables, Annual rate contracts (ARC’s) , Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC’s). Safety item, Admin items, Civil Contracts, Production, Electrical, instrumentation material /services etc.
Coordination with site and HO.
Understanding of technical specifications and commercial terms and conditions.
Review of PR, allocation of PR & Floating of RFQ’s
Preparation of techno_ commercial comparatives.
Negotiation and cost saving.
Finalization of commercial terms and conditions.
Approval Note preparation / review.
Preparation /review of purchase / service orders.
Follow up for material delivery /service executions.
Responsible for post order activities.
Processing Payment of supplier /contractors.
Handling BG’s EMD’s etc
Handling Procurement audits and CAPA’s.
Experience of SAP MM Module / SAP Ariba/ Auctions
MIS Preparations & presentation.
Preparation of various departmental presentations.
Fluency in using Microsoft word, excel , power point
Vendor Satisfaction Survey / Vendor Performance Evaluation
Market analysis and Vendor Development.
Experience of procurement of various Engineering, non engineering materials /services.
Experience of material and service procurement of O&M plants and project procurement.

Management of inventory control system in a cost‐effective way to ensure that spare parts, consumables, chemicals, materials, supplies, etc. are properly stored and accounted for and that adequate supplies are available at all times to support daily operation and maintenance of the plant Maintaining Tool crib, special tools, and tackles for all kinds of operation and maintenance viz Electrical, Instruments, Mechanical, Process etc/Procurement & deployment of Lifting tools & tackles will be contractor’s scope etc.
Co-ordinating & monitoring with store for managing inventory and timely issuance of GRN, SEN for smooth invoicing activity
Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, Vendor management.
Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.
Preparation and review of Comparative, note for approvals, Pos etc.
Process improvement.
Important procurement and custom clearance.
Active participation in management initiatives.
Learning and self development.
