We’re Hiring: Assistant Manager – Operations (24/7 Production Support)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Manager – Operations to lead and manage 24/7 production support
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end production support operations (24/7)
- Lead shift-based teams and ensure SLA adherence
- Drive incident, problem, and change management processes
- Ensure system uptime, stability, and quick resolution of critical issues
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams
- Monitor KPIs, conduct RCA, and implement preventive measures
🔹 Qualifications & Experience (Must-Have):
- 5–8 years of experience in production support / IT operations / application support
- Minimum 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role managing 24/7 shifts
- Strong hands-on experience in incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.)
- Solid understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Experience supporting critical applications in telecom / IT industry.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SQL, Unix/Linux commands, and log analysis
- Proven ability to handle P1/P2 incidents, escalations, and stakeholder communication
🔹 Preferred Skills:
- ITIL certification or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
🔹 Key Traits:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts (including nights/weekends)
