We are seeking a creative, motivated, proactive, commercially minded and detail-oriented professionals to join our growing team in Kathmandu as a Bhu – Sewa (Malpot Lekhapadhi) Officer. ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Bhu – Sewa (Malpot Lekhapadhi) Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu requiring frequent travels inside and outside Kathmandu. The officer will manage land revenue (Malpot) records, prepare and update property documentation, and ensure accurate entry of ownership and transaction details in relevant government and company systems. Besides the officer shall facilitate the completion of property title transfer at the Land Administration Office. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with government land revenue offices, verifying legal documents, maintaining organized filing systems, assisting clients with land registration, transfer & tax-related procedures and ensure AML/CFT and related reporting and compliance. The role also involves preparing reports, tracking deadlines for submission, supporting internal audit and compliance requirements, and collaborating with the broader real estate and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely property-related processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong documentation and record-keeping skills, including careful handling of land ownership papers, agreements, and official forms.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Nepalese land revenue (Malpot) processes, property registration procedures, and relevant local regulations.
  • Candidates should possess basic numerical and analytical skills to review land area measurements, tax calculations, and transaction values accurately.
  • Candidates should possess good communication and client service skills to interact clearly with property owners, buyers, government officials, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, photoshops) and data entry tools for maintaining digital records.
  • Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Relevant experience in a land revenue office, legal firm, real estate company, or related administrative role is beneficial.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Management, Law, Accounting, or similar) is preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Kathmandu with frequent outstation travels, manage multiple tasks, and meet documentation and submission deadlines.
