Job Brief and Requirement:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a part-time basis as a Bookkeeper and Office Administrator. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the company’s financial records through accurate bookkeeping practices while also providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities and Duties

Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics GP).

Record and categorize financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expenses.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents regularly.

Generate financial reports for review by management.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.

Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

Assist in preparing and processing payroll.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present regular financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.

Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Office Administration:

Manage office supplies and ensure that inventory is well-maintained.

Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings.

Handle basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Support the team in day-to-day office operations.

Communication and Collaboration:

Liaise with internal teams and external partners as needed.

Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and colleagues regarding financial matters.

Confidentiality:

Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration.

Familiarity with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics GP).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
