“`Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring smooth functioning. This is a key role that requires strong administrative skills, financial knowledge, and the ability to multitask effectively. Responsibilities: – Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments – Handle financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting – Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner – Maintain double entry bookkeeping records and perform journal entries – Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks – Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements – Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary – Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email – Assist with HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records – Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents – Conduct research and compile data for various reports or presentations Experience: – Proven experience in office management or a similar role – Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices – Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations – Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks – Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively – Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping – Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Proficient in 10-key typing If you are a motivated individual with a strong background in office management and finance, we encourage you to apply.
