Box Office Manager
The Woodstock Film Festival is seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to join our team for the 26th Annual Woodstock Film Festival taking place from October 16 to October 19, 2025.
This seasonal, full-time position begins on September 8 and runs until October 23, 2025. The schedule varies, includes weekends, and depends on box office hours. The rate of pay is $20/hour.
Responsibilities:
Train and schedule box office volunteers
Manage cash and card transactions, reconciliations, and shift reports
Maintain merchandise and supplies to keep the box office well-stocked, clean, and organized
Take and process ticket orders via phone, in person, or email
Answer incoming calls and return all calls on the ticket office line
Oversee daily ticket sales and generate reports
Process passes, comps, ticket exchanges, refunds, and donation requests
Resolve customer service issues efficiently
Provide information and event recommendations to patrons
Perform other administrative and management duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree, coursework, or related experience in sales, customer service, or related fields, preferably in film or performing arts
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Experience with database and communication systems
Interest and knowledge in film
Excellent people, phone, and computer skills
Self-motivated, capable of multitasking and working under pressure
Proficiency with online ticketing systems and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Eventive / CRM programs is a plus
Honest, thoughtful, composed, good with numbers
Availability for flexible and longer hours during the festival
