LOCATION: Union Beach Board of Education
REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrates effective Microsoft Office computer and typing skills Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates the ability to keep accurate records, work independently, and display outstanding organizational skills
Prior school secretarial experience a plus
Proficiency with Systems 3000, Genesis, NJSmart and Google Suite a plus Demonstrates confidentiality and discretion at all times
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Human resources responsibilities including onboarding, certification verification, maintaining records, tracking leaves, etc.
Secretarial duties such as sending/receiving mail and phone calls, filing, and scheduling meetings, appointments, and interviews
Manage use of facilities requests
Prepare and submit state mandated reports and data
Compile materials and prepare the agenda for all Board of Education meetings Create and maintain confidential staff files
Create and issue staff contracts
SALARY: To be negotiated with the Board of Ed
