General Description

Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our Human Resources department. This role is responsible for handling administrative tasks related to payroll support in UKG Pro for the Nursing staff at the Hospital, auditing timecards each pay period and assisting with payroll issues, off-payroll processes, and employee separations. This position will also assist in processing Human Resources transactions in OASIS, including new hires, resignations, retirements, and leaves of absence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and capable of maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed. Candidate must successfully pass a background screening.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Experience:

One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience performing clerical or secretarial work.

Substitution Information: Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
