As a Business Administrator you will help the Outlook organization operate with optimal efficiency. Your primary role will be to support the Directors of Product Management and Data Science & Engineering. In addition, you will support the overall business operations and administration for the Product Management and Data Science & Engineering teams, made up of over 100 people. Working across geographic boundaries is an important aspect of the role as Outlook has team members in many locations across the United States, South America, China and India. This opportunity will allow you to learn, grow your business administration and leadership skills, and make an impact in our globally diverse organization. You will also have an opportunity to work on projects of special interest, such as hack week, employee onboarding, and more.

This role is located on our Redmond campus and supports working up to 40% from home.

Responsibilities

You will provide calendar and time planning support for managers, and may manage community space calendars. You’ll also develop relationships with stakeholders across multiple organizations. You’ll also provide travel arrangements and may create itineraries for daily activities.

You will participate in the Business Support community and may mentor colleagues to help them better understand the organization.

You will support the planning and coordination of events, as well as help determine other event needs. You will also carry out various projects and tasks with little to no supervision. Identify risks and challenges within projects and communicate these to relevant stakeholders. Streamline processes, provide process improvement suggestions, and adjust as needed. You will also participate in onboarding and act as an essential contact for questions.

You will oversee inventory management and participate in discretionary budget tracking and reporting. You will also gain a deeper understanding of rhythm of business (ROB).

You will maintain up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces, using data to recommend changes and identify future requirements.
