Position:
Business Office Coordinator
The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for supporting the business office functions at the community, focusing on coverage of the front desk, and assisting visitors and guests. This position also serves as the community’s support resource for handling and managing questions/inquiries from residents and their families related to services and billing. Support is also provided for employees with payroll, benefit enrollment, orientation, and may include recruiting and interviewing assistance as requested by the Executive Director.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required;
Associate degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with one year of experience with business office functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One (1) to Two (2) years of experience working in an office setting.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Working knowledge of general accounting, billing and collections, and expense management practices.
Able to clearly present information through spoken communication, providing necessary detail even under stressful conditions.
Exhibits a positive attitude and team orientation in both verbal and non-verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to operate standard office equipment.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Occasional evenings and weekends are required for manager on duty and special events.
Physical Requirements:
Routinely requires pushing, lifting, pulling, bending, walking, reaching, and stooping.
