We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Credentialing department to provide secretarial and administrative support in a well- organized timely manner. You will work in a team environment on a variety of tasks related to the credentialing process. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving, critical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail and be comfortable talking to mid level providers. The Entry-Level Credentialing Administrative Assistant will assist in managing and maintaining the credentialing process for healthcare providers. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in administrative support and interested in learning about the credentialing field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our credentialing process for both new and existing healthcare providers. This role involves collecting, reviewing, and verifying required documentation and information for credentialing applications, as well as maintaining and updating credentialing databases and files. The ideal candidate will communicate directly with healthcare providers to gather necessary materials and coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless onboarding and re-credentialing experience. Additionally, the role includes monitoring the status of credentialing applications, following up as needed, and performing various administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in an administrative role or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
