Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Manager tojoin our teamand directly report to the Executive Director and Director of Operations andCommunication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations and aproven track recordof working effectively in a daycare facility. This role requires proficiency in exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to thrive in afast-pacedfront office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage the day-to-day operations of the front office, including inquiries, scheduling, and record-keeping.

– Ensure compliance with NYS OCFS regulations and internal policies related to childcare operations.

– Utilize software programs such as Procare, Brightwheel, Microsoft Excel, and Camp Minder for administrative tasks and record-keeping.

– MUST have the ability to use technology.

– Support the center on budgeting, and billing for various programs that are provided.

– Produce reports as needed, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.

– Demonstrate strongmultitaskingskills to handle various responsibilities efficiently in adynamic environment.

– Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a welcoming and organized atmosphere for children, parents, and visitors.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Early ChildhoodEducation, or a related field.

– Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in a daycare facility, preferably in an administrative role.

– Strong written and verbalcommunication, is essential for effectivecommunicationwith families and staff.

– Proficiency in utilizing software programs such as Procare, Brightwheel, Microsoft Excel, and Camp Minder.

– Thorough understanding of NYS OCFS regulations and procedures pertaining to childcare operations.

– Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

– Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in afast-paced environment.

-Proven track recordin managing business operations and financial records within a childcare setting.

– Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
