Role Description This is a full-time Card Loan Officer role based in Bandung with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Card Loan Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of credit card and card-related loan applications, from initial customer inquiry through approval and onboarding. Daily activities include assessing applicant eligibility, collecting and verifying documentation, performing preliminary credit analysis, and ensuring that underwriting standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met. The role involves providing responsive customer service, explaining product features and terms clearly, and guiding customers through the application process to deliver a positive experience. The Card Loan Officer will collaborate closely with branch, risk, and operations teams to support loan origination targets while maintaining sound credit quality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in card and consumer lending functions, including work as Loan Officers and involvement in Loan Origination processes.
  • Solid understanding of Finance principles and credit risk, with hands-on exposure to Underwriting for unsecured consumer or card loans.
  • Strong Customer Service capabilities, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to build trust with diverse customers.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review, data entry, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Bandung, managing time and priorities independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with basic banking systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools; comfort using and promoting digital banking products and applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in consumer banking or lending.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to responsible lending practices; familiarity with local banking regulations is an advantage.
