Position Title: Chief Engineer

How will you contribute?

•      Oversee, implement, and continuously improve building engineering and technical operations, including the use of BMS, AI-enabled systems, and smart building technologies to ensure reliability, efficiency, and predictive maintenance.

•      Ensure accurate, data-driven monitoring of all equipment through digital logs, sensors, CMMS, and dashboards, analyzing trends and anomalies to prevent failures and support proactive maintenance.

•      Maintain full compliance with fire life safety, energy, and engineering regulations, ensuring all systems are inspected, tested, documented, and audit-ready in accordance with Philippine laws and regulatory requirements.

•      Lead planned preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, validating work quality, contractor performance, and adherence to operating standards.

•      Assume technical leadership during emergencies and incidents, ensuring occupant safety, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the Property Manager.

•      Manage service requests, work orders, and tenant technical concerns, ensuring timely resolution, proper documentation, and customer satisfaction.

•      Act as the primary technical liaison with government agencies, utilities, and regulators, maintaining complete and accurate compliance records.

•      Prepare and submit regular engineering, energy, and performance reports, including operational costs, equipment performance, and optimization initiatives.

•       Develop and upskill the engineering team through continuous training on technical, digital, and smart building systems.

•      Drive energy optimization, sustainability initiatives, and operational reliability to minimize unplanned downtime and preserve asset value.

•      Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned in support of operational excellence

 

Qualifications

•      Graduate of BS Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

•      Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME)

•      With a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience in property

•      engineering, facilities management, or related technical fields, with demonstrated responsibility for commercial or mixed-use buildings.

•      Proven experience in managing MEPF systems, regulatory compliance, preventive maintenance programs, and contractor supervision.

•      Hands-on experience or direct involvement in the implementation, operation, or supervision of AI-enabled systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), smart building platforms, automated controls, energy management systems, and/or data-driven maintenance tools for building operations and performance optimization.
