TITLE:Clerical Receptionist (casual labor)

DEPARTMENT: Office of Business and Finance

REPORTS TO:Administrative Assistant

RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM:Business Office Manager

FLSA Status:Hourly Employee

FT/PT:35-40 hours/week (no benefits)

DAYS:M-FHOURS:7:30 am to 4:30 pm

JOB SUMMARY:
Perform basic clerical and data entry tasks for the Office of Business and Finance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform basic clerical and data entry tasks for the Office of Business and Finance.

Work independently and efficiently.

Assist with a variety of duties (phones, reconciliations, statement reviews, special projects).

ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (for every DMPS position):

Attend work on a prompt and regular basis.

Maintain confidentiality.

Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.

Assist with other duties as may be assigned.

HIRING SPECIFICATIONS:

Required:

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Knowledge of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Able to work cooperatively with others.

Strong organizational skills.

Must pass state required background check.

Desired:

Proficiency in technology.
