Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clerk role based in Petaling Jaya. The Clerk will support daily administrative duties, including managing paperwork, maintaining records, and updating internal databases. Responsibilities include preparing documents, handling basic data entry, organizing files (both physical and digital), and assisting with invoicing or simple financial tracking as needed. The role also involves answering phone calls, responding to emails, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth event operations. The Clerk will help with scheduling, preparing event-related documentation, and performing other general office tasks assigned by supervisors to support the overall efficiency of the event management team.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including document preparation, filing, and basic data entry.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and basic database or scheduling tools).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach to internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to support various office and event-related tasks.
  • Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Previous experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles is an advantage but not strictly required.
  • Minimum secondary school education; a diploma or higher qualification in business administration or a related field is a plus.
