Position: Clinical Administrative Coordinator – New England Neurological Associates
Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: Chelmsford, MA, with occasional travel to Nashua office

It involves clinical administration duties such as strategic planning, resource allocation, and supporting practice growth. The position is entry-level, requiring minimal prior experience, with routine work under supervision, focused on support services in a hands-on environment.
Job Overview
Under general supervision, supports clinic or office activities, providing administrative support to clinical providers. Assists with workflow, document management, and project tasks, maintaining high customer service levels through frequent patient contact. Plays a key role in revenue cycle, clinic operations, and patient experience.
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in a hospital, medical office, or clinic
Bilingual
Duties
and Responsibilities
Schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups, testing, labs, and surgeries
Assist with scheduling template creation and modifications
Answer phones, triage calls, respond to patient requests, take messages
Greet patients, check-in, verify demographic and insurance info
Assist with revenue cycle tasks like registration and insurance verification
Collect copayments
Prepare medical records and load information into EMR
Monitor patient flow, communicate delays
Assist with billing, charge entry, and reconciliation
Perform general office tasks: faxing, filing, mailing, supplies, calendar management
Provide clerical support to physicians
Participate in performance improvement projects
Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, occasional standing, lifting 10-15 lbs
Exposure to office-like conditions
Manual dexterity for keyboard use
Ability to see and read reports, hear instructions
Exposure to hazardous materials (blood, etc.)
Skills & Abilities
Strong communication skills, oral and written
Computer literacy, including email, MS Office, scheduling apps
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Flexibility in work assignments
Knowledge of third-party billing
Maintain confidentiality of medical information
