Posting Summary
Provide high-level administrative support to the UVMCC Clinical Trials Office ( CTO ) Directors ( CTO ),
leadership
, and staff. Serve as the CTO’s primary source of centralized contact. Provides administrative support for internal processes, standard operating procedures, and
quality assurance
initiatives. Maintains information on research studies and research-related activities in internal and external databases. Plans and provides administrative and technical support for multiple programmatic and committee meetings and activities associated with
clinical research
within the UVM Cancer Center.
Serve as the primary point of contact for CTO intranet and newsletter updates employing creativity and technical expertise. Provides additional administrative support in areas of business administration and performs other general administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications
(or equivalent combination of
education
and experience)
Associates degree and one to three years of related experience required. Proficiency with software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with internet resources required. Effective written and verbal
communication skills
required.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior experience in an academic/research environment preferred. Proficiency working with software applications used to support area operations including but not limited to People Soft, Database management, website editing, and Microsoft applications is desirable.
Other Information
A four-month probationary period is required.
