London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of College Administrative Assistant within the College of Society & Professions. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to an enthusiastic and pivotal team within the College of Society & Professions.

Working within the Operations Team, the role will support the day to day operations of the college, including development of plans, dissemination of information and directly supporting the leadership of the College. The successful candidate will gain experience across a number of areas within the operations of the College, will work closely with senior leadership and with colleagues within the team to develop and embed processes and ways of working.

About You:

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

Experience and understanding of working within an office environment; how to communicate effectively with people across a number of different areas and effectively organise their own workload.

Experience and understanding of working within a team; supporting colleagues, understanding the needs of others and being willing to work across a number of different areas.

Motivation in contributing to a positive working culture and environment.

A high standard of interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, well organised and familiar with standard office processes and software, such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience using software similar to Canvas would be desirable. The role would suit someone looking to begin a career within Higher Education.
