The Position
The City of South San Francisco seeks customer service-oriented individuals to join the Community Resource Team at the new Library | Parks and Recreation Center
. This position is shared between the Library Department and Parks and Recreation Department and works under the direction of the Community Resource Analyst
. The Community Resource Clerk will typically be stationed at the lobby desks on the first and second floors of the new Library | Parks and Recreation Center at 901 Civic Campus Way in South San Francisco. The role may also involve temporary assignments to other sites or representing departments at special events. The position involves providing a welcoming presence by greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, assisting with way finding, and sharing information about activities, city, and community resources.
