Approximately 10% travel using a personal vehicle for expos and compliance visits. Expenses will be reimbursed by the client.

Position Overview:
This is a temporary, entry-level position that provides administrative and compliance support to the Business Development Administrator. The role focuses on assisting with procurement processes, contract documentation, and compliance tracking related to Small Business Utilization programs. The position operates under direct supervision and follows established procedures to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining procurement and contract administration files
  • Maintain contract logs, tracking spreadsheets, and compliance databases
  • Support the preparation and compilation of contractor and subcontractor compliance reports
  • Assist in monitoring Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation documentation
  • Help prepare contract-related documents including amendments, task authorizations, and supporting records
  • Coordinate document collection from contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Assist in preparing materials for pre-proposal meetings, workshops, and compliance discussions
  • Compile data and generate reports for internal stakeholders and advisory boards
  • Provide general administrative and compliance support as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of administrative and compliance processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compliance tracking systems (e.g., B2

    GNOW)

  • Exposure to procurement or contract administration processes
  • Familiarity with Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak, understand, and communicate effectively in English with internal staff and external vendors.
  • Associate’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word.
  • Familiarity with using laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently.
  • High attention to detail, especially when tracking compliance documentation..
  • Experience with government procurement or contract administration.
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring or Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation programs.
  • Familiarity with the B2

    GNOW compliance system.
