Position Overview
The Construction Administrator will support the construction management team by overseeing administrative functions, ensuring compliance with building codes, and facilitating communication between contractors and stakeholders. This role is essential in maintaining project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate administrative activities related to construction projects
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
Manage subcontractor agreements and communications
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports
Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders and distribute minutes
Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing updates as necessary
Support the procurement of materials and supplies for construction projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years of experience in a construction administration role
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
