Full Job Description

We are looking for a full time Construction Bookkeeper/Admin assistant who excels at data entry proficiency. BuilderTrend software experience is a plus, QuickBooks online experience is a must. Work is 100% in office with standard M-F 9-5 hours, but overtime is available and hours can be somewhat flexible, if needed. We pay weekly every Friday and offer PTO and Insurance options.

Ideal candidate is a fast learner, excellent communicator, team player, dependable and we’d love a great personality. If you meet these requirements then you will probably fit right in. Candidate must be detail oriented, but not methodical to the point of inefficiency.

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred. Previous Accounts payable or receivable work with a knack for data entry is sufficient. Construction experience is helpful.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain construction company financial records to accurately track expenses, accounts receivable and accounts payable, using Quickbooks Online integrated with BuilderTrend software

High volume data entry to assure that all transactions are correctly coded

Preparation of financial reports and end of quarter summaries for ownership and accounting firm.

Maintain company employee records, in addition to subcontractor and Company insurance, licensure and business records.

Communicate with ownership, insurance, banking, government offices and subcontractors to collect and save required forms, approvals and license information.

Skills

Proven bookkeeping experience

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Solid understanding of basic accounting practices.

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Work closely with accounting firm when required.

Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

Compensation:

Varies, depending on experience and performance/raises: $40,000 to $60,000
