About the Company

A leading, investor-backed infrastructure company is constructing a state-of-the-art wood pellet manufacturing facility in Southern Africa. Developed in partnership with a world-class EPC contractor and an established regional feedstock supplier, this project is in its early construction phase and heading toward commercial operations over the next two years. The facility will supply industrial-grade wood pellets to an international off-taker under a long-term supply agreement, making it a critical contributor to both the regional economy and the global transition to sustainable energy.

About the Role

This role gives you hands-on exposure to EPC contract management, plant engineering, and project scheduling in a technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration: Supporting the administration of the EPC contract strictly within the FIDIC Silver Book Framework.
  • Document Control: Processing project documentation, maintaining the master document register, and managing the virtual data room (VDR) repository.
  • Project Scheduling: Monitoring site construction progress and updating the Project Programme via Gantt charts.
  • Meeting Management: Organizing project meetings, as well as preparing and distributing comprehensive minutes.
  • Compliance Support: Assisting with project compliance administration spanning Safety, Health, Environment, Social, and Governance (SHESG) regulations and corporate policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Any relevant post-high school qualification, such as a Diploma, Degree, or NQF Certificate.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, though recent graduates with a drive to learn are highly encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

  • Solid basic communication skills in English across speaking, reading, and writing.
  • A valid regional driver's license, alongside a willingness to be based full-time on-site with a daily commute.
  • Ability to obtain a police clearance certificate for work permit processing if you are an international candidate.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior exposure to EPC projects, manufacturing facilities, or heavy process plant environments.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contract frameworks or project-finance-backed infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of biomass, forestry, or agricultural processing operations.
  • Experience utilizing formal document control systems and project-scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
