Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Contract Administrator role based in Preston, VIC. The Contract Administrator will support project delivery by preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts and related documentation for civil infrastructure and electrical projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating contract execution, monitoring contract performance, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies, accreditation requirements, and relevant standards. The role involves liaising with project managers, procurement, finance, and external stakeholders to clarify contract terms, manage variations, and assist with claims and reporting. The Contract Administrator will also help optimize contract workflows, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement across contract and commercial processes.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Contract Management and Contract Negotiation skills to prepare, review, and administer agreements effectively.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret contract terms, assess risks, and support accurate costing and reporting.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to engage with internal teams, clients, and suppliers and to document contract information accurately.
  • Candidates should possess Procurement knowledge and experience to support sourcing activities, supplier selection, and alignment of contracts with project needs.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, commerce, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience in civil infrastructure, electrical contracting, or construction industries is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with contract management and MS Office software are expected.
  • Understanding of ISO-certified management systems and safety, quality, and environmental standards is desirable.
