Job Description
The Group Desk Coordinator specializes in Convention groups, acting as a liaison between the Hotel and Sales Department at Wynn/Encore. This includes providing support with group reservations, group contacts, group master accounts, group billing, special requests, room assignments, distribution of keys, attending Pre-Convention meetings and answering questions pertaining to groups.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Convention Services Managers and Convention Desk to ensure all appropriate information is communicated to the Front Office in a timely manner to prepare for and execute group arrivals and departures.
Review group resumes and ensure that all contractual concessions are upheld during the group’s program.
Compile requested daily reports for in-house groups.
Maintain all master accounts while Convention groups are in-house by completing necessary billing revisions.
Attend Pre-Convention meetings to review details for all up-coming Convention groups.
Interact positively with guests and on-site contacts while promoting hotel facilities and services.
Working in ateam-orientedenvironment.
Maintain cleanliness of the Group Desk area.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of customer service experience
Minimum of two years Guest Services and/or Front Desk experience at a luxury resort
Knowledge of hotel property management system (Opera) preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office
