Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Officer to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting directly to the manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional client service standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting the efficient delivery of corporate banking operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all administrative and operational activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and control requirements
- Support compliance requirements including documentation and file reviews for Medium and Low Risk Clients
- Maintain a high standard of customer service in all internal and external interactions
- Processing e-banking queries and requests
- Handle account opening, managing loan drawdowns, monitoring and chasing past dues, handling cheque deposits
- Managing increases in e-banking limits (including callbacks, system updates, and user maintenance)
- Preparing and executing manual payment instructions, including callback verification
- Requesting and following up on supporting documentation (Compliance / FLOD / SafeWatch)
- Maintaining accurate customer data in systems such as Finacle and MeClients
- Managing document storage and retrieval in INVU
- Supporting E-Wealth setup, including account configuration and user management
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Manager Corporate Admin and Head- Corporate Services
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of A-level standard of education and/or at least 3 years’ relevant experience in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of corporate banking operations and administrative processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
- Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Preferred Skills (Considered an Asset)
- Previous experience within a corporate banking or corporate services environment
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. KYC, AML)
- Client relationship management experience
