Corporate Administrative Secretary Jobs in Highland, Illinois, USA at The Korte Company

The Korte Company is seeking a Corporate Administrative Secretary to join our team in Highland, IL. This position will be responsible for support across multiple departments, managing a variety of administrative, corporate, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience and meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide administrative and clerical support to multiple executives

Coordinate travel arrangements and process related invoices

Assist with planning company events, dedication gifts and groundbreaking plaques

Help prepare materials for audits and tax filings

Manage internal calendars and distribute event ticket

Maintain corporate records, including stock and business registrations

Prepare Advisory Board meeting materials

Assist in preparing and managing contracts, including owner and subcontractor agreements

Coordinate joint venture agreements and legal notices as required

Ensure timely submission of government reports (e.g., small business, DOL, executive compensation).

Maintain and update registrations and reporting in platforms like SAM.gov

Track and support government contract compliance and documentation

Perform general secretarial duties, including scheduling meetings, filing, and handling correspondence and overnight mailings

Supervise and coordinate the activities of administrative staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

Qualified applicants will have:

High school diploma or equivalent required

5+ years of secretarial and/or administrative experience is required

Experience with contract administration and government reporting platforms (e.g., SAM.gov) a plus

Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus
